GWYDDONIAID, Sands & Dust …

Another manuscript written by elder in the Sacred Pentagraph, Laura Leteges, rom 1994 is a magical and handbook that has never been published.

This one was called: GWYDDONIAID Sands & Dust …

In this book, Laura shares a bit of magic and lore of the Druids – in this case, the GWYDDONIAID is the practice of magic. She said that the Gwyddon was one of the Druid names of the male practitioner and the Gwiddon was the name of the female practitioner. (This is not so hard to believe, since in old English, a Wicca is a male witch and a Wicce is a female witch)

The Gwydion was a Druidic prince; son of Math the All-Father. He could shape-shift; spellbind and alter the course of events through his role as a Bard. This isn’t so out of the box, becuase Sybil Leek considered us witches and the Priesthood, the Druids. In Leek’s book “Cast Your Own Spell” she refers to this as “Druidic-witchcraft” as a way of trying to differentiate.

Back to the booklet — The first bit of Druid Magic Laura teaches in this section is called:

“Gwydion’s Grains of Change – this a ritual to make changes that you have desired to occur. This meditative ritual can be used to alter your life so think carefully if you truly want what you are asking for.

The second bit of Druid Magic she teaches in this section is called:

Rhiannon’s Faerie Dust – this is used to spell current (present) conditions of frustration; dissection, and negative atmosphere to bring harmonious vibrations.

The third bit of Druidic Magic she teaches in this section is called:

Druidic Sands of Time – this is the method for slowing down or stretching time itself. Laura describes that a lot of the magic that is used by the Druids, that was in her day called ESP, had much to do with time: Hypnosis eliminated a sense of time and could control the actions of others, we also Harmonize with Festive Celebrations the changing of the seasons, in small Druid magics – stretching and shrinking time.

Like Laura, I have written as well my own handbook of Druid magic, incantation and Druid ritual in effort to express that side of our practice.
